Description

The Dealings Of God study manual was written for the express purpose of sharing with God’s people the way to enter into all that He has for them.  There is no other way in but through the dealings of God.  Though this subject is a hard word, and is not taught on very much, it would be much easier to teach on something pleasing to the flesh.  Our faith must not stand in anything other than the revealed Word of God.  As we search the Scriptures, we clearly see the truth, the immense revelation of God’s purpose in His dealings with His people.  My prayer is that this humble manual will assist the body of Christ into seeing truths, which I believe, are old paths (Jeremiah 6:16) long neglected, but desperately needed for the body of Christ to come into fullness, for soundness, for depth and substance to be placed into their lives, and to see a greater revelation of our sovereign God and His workings.

We must not see or know just one side of a truth.  For many years we have only heard one aspect of God and His dealing with His people (i.e. prosperity, healing, blessing, etc.)  It is time to blow the trumpet in Zion and declare God’s bride will not be someone with just power and gifts, but she will be one who radiates not only the power, but the nature, even the divine nature, of God.  She will have His heart, His mind, and His character.  She will be like Him in every way.  For this to happen, God’s people must be humbled and proven, enduring the dealings of God to be perfected.  I Peter 5:10 says, “But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.”  Hosea adds, “for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up. 2After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight” (Hosea 6:1-2).

If the Captain of our salvation was made perfect through sufferings (Hebrews 2:10), can we expect any less?  Let us go on then unto perfection knowing “both how to be abased” and “how to abound” as Paul said, “in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need” (Philippians 4:12-13).  Let us see every aspect of our wonderful God and His dealings with His people.  Let us be balanced and sound.  To this end, this manual has been written by one who has seen and been broken by these truths.
