Journeying Towards Jerusalem

This course is a series of teachings out of Luke 13:22 when Jesus is traveling with His disciples teaching on the Kingdom of God and it reads, “And he went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying towards Jerusalem.”  Where are we going as the body of Christ, personally and corporately?  Where is Jesus taking us?  May this series be a living Word for all of us in this generation in which we live.  Jesus today is journeying towards Jerusalem.  Jerusalem is not a physically place, spiritually speaking.  The New Jerusalem is a type of God’s bride, adorned for he husband, having the glory of God, Revelation 21 points out.  It is a place of double peace and a type of entering into all God has destined for us to become and experience.  Jesus is going throughout all the earth desiring to not preach, but teach and disciple His people and bring them to Jerusalem.  May this Word kindle our lives with purpose and vision for the future.  This is a Word on discipleship and fulfilling our great commission as Jesus said in Matthew 28:19, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations…”
