What Will You Learn?

• To share with you the key to real deliverance.It is not necessarily in a prayer or in hands being laid on someone, or even in a time of intense fasting, but by diligent, heartfelt searching of the Scriptures.  Jesus said, “31If ye continue in my Word, then are ye my disciples indeed.  32And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:31-32).  He also said, “Sanctify them through thy truth, thy Word is truth.” (John 17:17).  David said, “9Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way?  By taking heed thereto according to thy Word…11Thy Word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against thee…133Order my steps in thy Word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me” (Psalms 119:9, 11, 133).  What are these Scriptures saying?  As we allow the Word of God to fill our hearts and minds, we will be delivered and changed.
• To share with you the great treasures of wisdom and knowledge, and most importantly, the revelation of God’s way. As we give ourselves to the Scriptures, we begin to know and understand our God in a complete way.  It says in Romans, “O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God!  How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out” (Romans 1:33).
• To lay a foundation in your life of the importance God, Himself, places on the Word, to the end that we would be established and not be ashamed.David says in Psalms 119, “Let my heart be sound in thy statutes that I be not ashamed” (Psalms 119:80).  II Timothy tells us to “study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” (II Timothy 2:15).  The Bible also admonishes us, “Be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you…” (I Peter 3:15).
• To promote in you a hunger and a great desire to read, study, memorize, and speak the Word of God.Let the cry of our hearts be, as David says in Psalms, “O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day” (Psalms 119:97).
