Doors & Keys
About Course
This “Doors and Keys” course contains two topics, the principle of the door in Scripture and the principle of the key of David. These were taught in the early 2000’s by Dr. Samuel Greene, but still revelatory today as a generation needs to hear again about the calling to God’s glory that is typified in this principle of the door and the key of David!
As with everything. Jesus is the ante-type of everything. Jesus said in John 10:9, “I am the door.” Everything begins and ends in Jesus. Everything taught will end in Jesus being glorified and manifested in our lives and in the earth. Nothing we enter into in God is outside of our precious Savior Jesus and His great sacrifice on the cross to make a way for us!
Moreover, John said in Revelation 4:1, “After this I looked, and behold, a door was opened in heaven…” God wants a people to understand what this door is, understand it is open to us today, how we find this door in our lives and ultimately how go through it so we can lead others as well. A door speaks of an entrance into something and access to new spiritual things. There are many doors in Scripture and for further study beyond see The God Manual Course which has six separate teachings on “God’s Door” (#249-254). Under resources on this course, we have added the notes from the God Manual on “God’s Door” for your study as there were no notes during the original teaching presented here.
The second topic in this course is called “The Key of David.” David had a key that was given to the doorkeepers that gave access to all the treasuries of the house of God as well as access to the throne of God. We see this key again in the church of Philadelphia in Revelation 3. Jesus has this key and wants to give it to His overcoming church. Jesus told His disciples in Matthew 16:19, “And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” To have this key means you have the ability to unlock the treasures of God. To have this key means you have the ability to “open and no man shuts and to shut and no man opens.” May Jesus find a people in this generation with the heart of David, boiling in love for Jesus, and “a man after His heart!” This key means having the ability build God’s Kingdom in the last days, not build their own Kingdom. To that end has this course been presented, to light vision, a passion, and a hunger to do just that and truly say and pray like Jesus taught us with His own life, “nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done,” (Luke 22:42).
