Fragrance of the Lord

About Course
In this course, we want to look at an often neglected principle in Holy Scripture, the fragrance of our God. Yes, believe it or not, our wonderful God and Saviour has not only a fragrance, but a distinct and beautiful one, “Because of the savor of thy good ointments thy name is as ointment poured forth,” (Song of Solomon 1:3). Psalms 45:8 defines the ingredients of His fragrance, “All thy garments smell of myrrh and aloes, and cassia…” Finding the revelation and understanding this truth will give us great insight into knowing our Lord more intimately, understand the anointing of God more, and how we can obtain His fragrance in our lives.
As we understand the meanings and revelation of each ingredient that makes up His fragrance, we will be encouraged, uplifted, and come into a greater appreciation for Him and His purposes for our lives, especially walking through bitter experiences, to the end that we may be perfumed ourselves with His fragrance as Song of Solomon 3:6 says of the bride, “Who is this that cometh out of the wilderness like pillars of smoke, perfumed with myrrh and frankincense, with all powders of the merchant?”
