Controversial issues such as: the Trinity, Eternal Salvation, Water Baptism, Baptism in the Holy Spirit, the nature of man, the nature of God, etc. are all defined in this doctrine. Of all the foundational principles (Hebrews 6:1-3) this, the “Doctrine of Baptisms”, is the most crucial. This is essential sound doctrine without which one cannot move into the deeper truths in God.
