In this time when all around us the world seems to be sinking into great division, unheard of strife, racism, wars, and rumors of wars, people are seeking relief from serious depression and fear. Many seem to be on the precipice of insanity and suicide, which is now so prevalent in our society. Men and women can’t seem to cope with life and have turned to medication as the answer, only to cause epidemics of addiction and dependency. It has infiltrated even the body of Christ to such an extent that the world no longer sees the church or what it offers as a refuge or help. What are we, as loyal disciples of Jesus, to do? What are we to do or say to the millions contemplating suicide and divorce that feel they are forever locked into serious and profound darkness, loneliness, and depression?

I believe that our precious Jesus has an answer to all these problems. This small book has been written as “an answer to every man that [asks]” (I Peter 3:15). Since there are so many issues and threats facing us, this can only cover so much, hence Volume I. We will seek in this treatise to bring comfort, hope, and encouragement to all those going through this malaise of circumstances. We will try to show what the Word of God has to say about all these issues. Some issues covered in this book include: divorce, fear of hell, betrayal, suicide, depression, death, hating yourself, addictions, loneliness, condemnations, and much more.

It is so easy to forget in this season when men’s hearts are failing them for fear, and it seems “there is none to comfort” (Lamentations 1:20-21). People, including those in the body of Christ, are declaring, “When wilt thou comfort me?” (Psalms 119:82). Brother Sam Greene does his best to bring the Word of the Lord to each and every question and issue. To that glorious end has this book been written.
